Environmental Permitting
KourCo's environmental professionals have vast experience in the compilation of federal, state and local environmental permits and related documents for all media types. Air quality permitting includes Emission Inventory Questionnaires (EIQs), Title V operating permits for small and large sources and Small Source Exemption Requests. Water quality permitting services are also provided for stormwater, sanitary wastewater or industrial process wastewater discharges as well as discharges to city or parish publicly owned treatment work (POTW). KourCo compiles supplementary plans required by permits, such as Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans (SWP3) and Spill Prevention Control and Countermeasure (SPCC) Plans.
KourCo also specializes in Section 10/404 permitting with each of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Districts in Louisiana and the Coastal Use Permit Program of the Louisiana Department of Natural Resources Coastal Management Division. In addition, KourCo can provide permitting for projects on Wildlife Management Areas and Scenic Rivers, which is under the auspices of the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries, and with Water Quality Certification permitting with the Louisiana Department of Environmental Quality. Additionally, KourCo can aid in any clarification of the permitted action, address unforeseen changes in project plans, ensure compliance of permit conditions, review monitoring data, and document actions within sensitive habitat areas.
Additionally, Type III Construction/Demolition Debris Landfill Permit Applications are completed by KourCo’s staff of environmental professionals.
